About this artwork

Third chapter of the [Arrachea Sphere] series.

I get on the bike and my mind clears, everything is fine. I just think that it is the most beautiful means of locomotion that we invented. The effort-benefit ratio is so great that I can’t find a comparable one.

I created this work when I spent my first 14 days isolated in quarantine. 30 days after the health emergency was declared in Argentina. I missed riding my bike so much that I needed to dedicate something special to it at the time.

The maritime environment arises from the inability and desire to cross the Atlantic due to the world situation. I went to visit my family in Argentina and could not return to Barcelona, where I was living.

It belongs to a series that consisted of designing abstractions of the objects and activities that he loves.

Furthermore, he designed for each object an environment where he composes a three-dimensional space inherent in this.

He called this series, which contains four chapters, [Arrachea’s Sphere]
